when i was planning the japan trip with my dad, seoul came up as a place to visit since we'd be in the area. as such, i did a lot of research for things to do. since i'm not going during this trip, i thought i'd share some of the places in the city that i think look cool. places marked with an asterisk look especially interesting to me. i always find that eating good food makes me feel better. 🍣
restaurants and bars
- 연어롭다 - the food in the photos looks really good.
- 7th door - 1 star michelin korean.
- m29 bar - looks like they have a legit cocktail menu.
- *mitou - 2 star michelin japanese. want to go.
- *sushido - it took a while to find quality sushi at a decent price, but i found it eventually. open for lunch and dinner.
- *woojeongsogalbi - i'm a big fan of tartare. this would probably be one of the first places i visit for food.
- *유한 (youhan) - bib gourmand thai food. looks legit.
- *zest bar - 16th best bar in the world. want to go.
hotels
- ananti at gangnam - another high-quality and affordable hotel.
- the shilla seoul - affordable 5-star hotel.
places
- *cheonggyecheon stream - looks like a nice place to take a walk.
- idenhouse - jazz club that looks like it's a nice time.
- myeongdong shopping street - a lot of cool shops in this area.
